Card Games

We are big fans of card games because they are so easy to get to the table. Portable enough to throw in your bag and take with you. And most play relatively quickly. These are REAL life favorites.

One of my kids most requested games. We've played this more than any others to date. Plenty of "take that" sibling rivalry.

So glad we found this game this year. It quickly became one of our favorites. Everyone loves this one!

My favorite trick taking game but the scoring can be more involved than I like. We'll be using the Rascal's scoring from now on. (It's provided in the rulebook as an optional scoring.)

I would never have purchased this one if my son hadn't said how fun it was. I'm so glad he did. It's a great pick.

So simple and easy to learn but I'll never get tired of this one. Play a card, draw a card. That's all. But I promise this one is SO good. Knizia magic.

The origami-style illustrations are super cute. Simple to learn, draw a card, make combos and score the most points. Small enough to toss in your bag and take anywhere. My daughter and I took this one to a coffee shop while we hung out one evening.

Fast, furious simultaneous play. A crowd favorite. Purchase different colored boxes to increase the player count from 4 to 12!

One of the first card games I taught my kids back in the day. And they would still play it today. This one is a hit with kids and parents alike. Queens, Kings, Knights, Dragons, Potions and Magic Wands. Fun, engaging theme!

Game that will test your reflexes and coordination. Plays super fast and is a lot of fun. Great game to bring to a holiday party or family gathering.

Quick little deck builder with cute cartoon actors as the stars. Love the theme.

Recruit characters to build end-game scoring conditions. Card combinations, strategy and once again-simple rules. What's not to love.

Play a card and collect an animal meeple. When one color has six cards the game ends. At this point, the last card played in each category determines the value of the animals. So simple but so much fun. We played 5-6 games in a row. Who doesn't like collecting fun meeples like these.
